Dear Friends,

I would like to extend a hearty welcome to all of you, on behalf of the
new IAGG committee of 2005-2006.

The previous year of 2004 has been one of change, and wider exposure.
We replaced the monthly newsletter with the more cost-efficient
towncrier e-mails. Membership and Event registration can now be done at the website, at your convenience (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). We
introduced a new social event, "Day with India", that was well received by the Greenville community. The stupendous response to this event helped confirm our beliefs - that we as a community have a lot to offer, not just to the Indian elite but to the entire population of Greenville.

We were able to accomplish all this, thanks to the diligence and hard work of the 2004 committee members. Moreover, we were able to turn the year into a highly successful one, due to the support of the community.  Thank you very much! We could not have done it without you!

Due to the high expectations set by our predecessors, the coming year shall be a challenging one. The ability to carry forward the changes, while keeping an eye towards our mission, shall determine the success of the committee and the organization, as a whole. Your continued co-operation and support, will help us carry forward the torch, and make this year, once again a successful one.
