Dear Friends,

The Day with India event, organized on the 18th of March, 2006, can be termed as a rip-roaring success! More than 4000 attendees attended this Mela, to experience and sample what Indian culture has to offer - the various Indian demonstrations and workshops, the colorful cultural presentations, display of ethnic wares in the Indian Bazaar section - and all finally culminating in the food court, enticing one's senses with a taste of the various Indian spices. As we all know, all proceeds from this event shall go to Meals on Wheels of Greenville, whose donation details are available here.

The event represented the epic collobration between India Association of Greater Greenville and its various friends - The Vedic Center of Greenville, Progressive Indian Women's Club and AID Clemson - who ensured the success of this large-scale event.

Above all, the event was a sum of various community volunteer efforts, without whose help, it wouldn't have been possible to make this happen !
