The University of South Carolina Indian Cultural Exchange will host its second annual dance competition, Aag Ki Raat-Night of Fire on Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Columbia, SC. Eight collegiate dance teams from the Midwest to the east coast will have the opportunity to compete for a $1,000 grand prize. Aag Ki Raat will feature three styles of dance including Bhangra, Raas, and Fusion. An Indian cuisine will be served at 5:30PM and the show will begin promptly at 6:30PM. USC I.C.E is also excited to announce that we will be donating a percentage of our proceeds, along with individual donations, to Ekal Vidyalaya. Ekal Vidyalaya is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing basic education to underprivileged children between the ages of 5 and 14 in rural parts of India. By donating to this charity we are providing the next generation of Indians increased opportunities for education and long-term success.

1st Annual Dance Recital "Shringara"

Taal School of Dance is pleased to present it's 1st Annual Dance Recital "Shringara". This is a fund-raising event and proceeds will be given to the Vedic Center of Greater Greenville.
